COVID-19 and Shieldhelp

It’s a rare moment in time where we are all going through something as scary as COVID-19 together. Our main focus is staying safe. I initially was annoyed that school, work, restaurants are all closed. It really jammed up my lifestyle. But, all of a sudden, the death toll started to rise and we all realized how serious this virus is. It’s deadly. It’s killing tens of thousands of people and doesn’t discriminate. The safest way to stay well is to stay home, but we all need food and supplies for the home, which requires going out. In our house, we’ve designated my husband to be the one to take the risk and go out to get supplies. I think he welcomes the break, although doesn’t love the process. To protect him, I’ve made him a homemade mask, and we were able to find disposable gloves that get thrown away before he comes back home. But as you all know, it’s almost impossible to find the supplies you need. Shieldhelp is here to help.

It’s virtually impossible to find a respirator mask here in the US, but Shieldhelp has them available. If you need to go out, like my husband, use the safest level of protection you can find. I actually have been making headbands for nurses from leggings with buttons attached to relieve the pain of the masks irritating the backs of ears. They’re easy to make and will help secure your mask to your face.

Another item that is virtually impossible to find, but Shieldhelp has available are sanitizing wipes! These were the first thing I noticed to disappear on the shelves, along with toilet paper. I get it. The last thing you want to run out of is toilet paper. But hoarding it so that others can’t access isn’t right either. Do the right thing and only buy what you need, so others can access what they need to survive. We’re all in this together.

The last thing that I have needed that I can’t access here in the US is a really good thermometer. If you get a high fever, it’s time to call the doctor, but how do you know without a thermometer? Shieldhelp comes to the rescue again with high-grade safety supplies. Get everything you need online, while at home quarantined from Shieldhelp.
