Pull&Bear 90's Straight Leg Jeans

Hello! The 90’s called and said, “straight leg jeans are having a moment”. Who would have thought that a universally unflattering cut of jeans would make any type of fashion comeback? My mind is officially blown. I mean, for so long we were told, dark washes are slimming. Booty hugging is sexy. Being in abdominal pain while wearing jeans is ridiculous. But here we are, with a light wash, dumpy butt, gut pinching jeans and I love them.

These Pull&Bear 90’s Straight Leg Jean from ASOS fit surprisingly well. I love the wide leg style, and the rise isn’t too high. The details, like the inner slits at the hem and the cuts along the knees are signature 2001, but the wash and fit are totally 90’s. A little disclaimer, these particular jeans are actually sold out (sorry my long legged friends) in a size 8 Tall, but they do still have an incredible selection of almost exact styles.

If you haven’t shopped with ASOS before, you’re welcome. I can’t say enough good things about this particular online brand. The shipping is fast, the returns are easy. The styles are current and even, dare I say, fashion forward. They carry their own line, as well as higher-end designers. The quality is excellent, the selection is insane, they carry tall, petite and plus… and well, I have had consistent great online shopping experiences with ASOS.

With all that said, I’m sold. I have a thing for retro styles. Especially ones that I’ve already worn, but can now wear better, because I actually have fashion sense (and an income). I wouldn’t invest a huge amount of money in these jeans, because honestly, I can’t imagine they’re going to stick around for long. With no stretch and a saggy looking bottom, I anticipate we’ll move on to something new before you know it. Maybe the super low-cut jeans that show your thong in the back? Sweet Lord, I hope those never come back in style, but who knows?!
