Keeping it Real.

The Queen of fashion is back! Did you miss me? I know, I know. You probably didn’t even notice I took the entire summer off from blogging. It’s okay. Hopefully I’ll get your attention once I do a little explaining.

See, I started my fashion blog to gain interest in my Personal Shopping business. I made a personal vow that my blog was specifically for educational purposes and I would “never” sell out on a brand I didn’t believe in. Well, when the money started rolling in from junky brands based in China, I sold out. I sold out for free clothes, I sold out for easy money and I sold out on my clients. I lost sight of the entire purpose of my blog and got greedy on easy money. I’m sorry for that.

It took a looming recession and a huge lack of new Clients for me to see that what I was doing wasn’t working. I’m big enough to admit it. My blog content was less than consistent and all I was doing was promoting brands that I didn’t necessarily believe in. Don’t get me wrong, some of my posts are unsponsored and completely legit, but not consistently.

SO, this fall I have made a commitment to myself and to you guys to get back to basics. To blog at least once a week and talk about functional, accessible, affordable fashion. That starts with the wardrobe you already own and how to re-work it to maximize your closet’s potential. I’ll list basics every woman should own. I’ll talk about a wardrobe capsule. I’ll show how to wear one piece, multiple ways.

While the word pinches their pennies, unsure of what the future holds, I’ll accept the fact that people aren’t thinking about premium services. I’m going to pivot with you. Stay tuned this fall for weekly blog posts SAVING you money, while still looking and feeling fabulous.
