Future Collective

We all know a blazer is BOSS. An absolutely essential piece in every person’s wardrobe. Blazers are timeless, stylish and can be worn with almost any look. They aren’t just for the office. I’ve worn a blazer with bike shorts and sneakers. It was a trend, I swear.

If you shop at Target, You’ve probably noticed they collaborate with designers that Target shoppers normally couldn’t afford, to bring designer pieces at an affordable price. Smart move Target. Their new collaboration with Future Collective (which features a new designer every few months) is my favorite. Bright colors, fashion forward cuts, lush fabrics… it’s elevated.

The white blazer I’m featuring is above average. It’s lined with a beautiful black satin fabric. The buttons are brown, which gives the blazer a ton of versatility in pairing with colors. Pretty much anything goes. That’s blazer power. But the best part of this blazer is what makes it so interesting. The cold shoulder cut outs. They elevate the blazer to another level and I’m living for it.

I paired this Future Collective blazer with my favorite leather leggings*, Steve Madden sneakers and cinched my waist with my GUCCI belt to create a more edgy look.

*Sad story. My favorite leather leggings that I’ve had for at least five years ripped up the back during this photo shoot. RIP black leather leggings. You have been soooo good to me. They were the perfect pair, because they were soft on the inside, high quality outside, stretchy, mid-rise. Ugh. They hugged me better than my mother. I will miss them dearly and have yet to be able to find the same ones.
