Free People Movement (Vol. 1)

Absolute transparency, my workouts include walking, yoga, bike riding and playing pass with my kid. I grew up playing sports, and didn’t realize I hated playing sports until I stopped. The sore muscles, the forced running, the high-impact everything. Ewe. I’m more of “lady of leisure” and pretty proud of it. So, when I’m promoting activewear, my review is going to be based on low-impact working out… And of course how cute and functional it is.

I recently purchased a bundle of Free People Movement pieces (thank you, @posh_cheeky_ bin, on Poshmark). When I say obsessed, I mean, obsessed. So obsessed, that one bundle wasn’t enough. I got two, because the pieces and selection are incredible. Let’s start with the leggings. These olive Free People Movement leggings are in a size M/L. FP’s size chart says that a M/L fits size 6-10. I’m going to go with 100% accurate sizing, considering I’m anywhere between a 6-10 and these leggings fit perfectly. The super high waist band is thick, compressing, doesn’t slide down and hits your waist at the ultimately most flattering spot. The quality of material is almost silky and so buttery soft. There’s even a cute detail up the back of the leggings that gives them the signature Free People Movement stamp of approval.

The white ribbed top is my absolute favorite of all the Free People Movement tops. I was shocked that the snaps actually work. Giving you the ability to show off the girls, a little, not at all or a lot. Again, the top is a M/L and fits my B cup, 6-10 body perfectly. I’d definitely recommend snapping this top all the way up for enough support to do a low impact workout, but the top is so darn cute, you could really wear it with a pair of jeans, and let those snaps down. The open back gives the top extra interest and because it isn’t sheer at all, you can wear it as a top or a bra.

Overall, I’m obsessed. Like, can’t wait to wear every single piece, all spring, summer, fall and winter. And don’t worry. There’s lots more Free People Movement pieces and looks coming soon. Stay tuned for a little history on Free People, my involvement with Free People and how Free people has impacted my life.
