I Love ZARA

I don’t just love ZARA, I’m borderline obsessed. Like, thank GOD we don’t have a ZARA in Portland, Maine, because I might go broke, if we did. Of course it’s available online, but I find their sizing to be inconsistent, so in-store shopping is pretty necessary. I know, I know. I complain about stores with inconsistent sizing. It’s annoying when I’m shopping with Clients and they love something and I recommend they get it in a second (sometimes third) color, but insist they try on all three colors. Even different colors in the same style can vary, so it’s pretty essential. ZARA can be a lot like that.

You’re probably asking yourself, then how the heck do you shop ZARA, Chelsea? Well, I’m lucky enough to travel frequently and the doubledecker ZARAs in Miami and Boston do the trick. I also get a lot of ZARA pieces from Poshmark. They haven’t all been wins, but the great thing about Poshmark is I can usually flip a purchase and sell it for more than I paid, if it’s not exactly what I was looking for.

With a full line of clothing, shoes, accessories, ZARA offers stylish pieces at affordable prices. When I say stylish, I mean, just left the runway and made to work for everyday, pieces. And well made pieces. Most of my ZARA clothing items have literally lasted well over ten years and still look new. Their tailored pieces not only stand the test of time with structure, but also in style. Years ago, I featured a cream organic leather mod dress I got at ZARA on my blog, and still wear it all the time. It was cutting edge then, and still turns heads now.

My favorite things I stock up on at ZARA are denim. Most of their denim fits true to size, but on denim that’s intended to fit more loosely, I like to size up. I also have a ton of dresses from ZARA. That’s mostly because I never leave Miami without a trip to the store on Lincoln St., and a new dress can be worn both there and home. With unique silhouttes, cuts and fabrics, ZARA always elevates each piece to be different than any other store around.

So, if you’re shopping and you happen to pass a ZARA, go in. Check out the incredible prices, styles and selection. My corset cream top and slim fit denim are both from ZARA and total well under $100.
