Spring's Bold Colors 2023

Have you been shopping recently? If you have, you probably noticed all the vivid colors going on. We call that, trending. Bright green, orange, hot pink, blue. It’s on-trend for Spring. These bold color combinations are a slippery slope, and if done incorrectly, could result in disaster. Come on a ride with me and talk about the Spring’s big trend: Bold Colors.

When I work with Clients, I like to get an idea of what their goal is for their wardrobe. The best way to do that is to take a dive into their Pinterest Board. Get inspiration from what they love. I recently worked with a Client that traveled to work with me, so pawing through her closet wasn’t an option. All I had was her Pinterest Inspo. Board, and whoa was I excited when I saw a ton of color blocking. Color blocking is basically pairing two, sometimes three bold colors together to create a fresh look.

Color blocking isn’t the only way to sport the bright new colors on trend for Spring. Using just one color from head to toe is called monocromatic and it’s also totally trending. It’s bold, but pairing a hot pink top with hot pink wide leg pants is on point for 2023. It doesn’t have to just be bright colors. Wearing one color, like blue, green, white or black is an effortless way to look totally chic.

Clients always have a difficult time believing me when I say that wearing one color in multiple shades, is totally cool. For example, pairing a pair of bright blue trousers with a light blue top is going to totally work. I love to pair red and pink. Choose your color based on your skin tone and play with that color in multiple shades.

Have fun with color this spring. It’s a great way to refresh your wardrobe and color never goes out of style.

My puff-sleeved green top is from Target, the jeans are ZARA, the gold belt is Anthropologie and my pink baby bag is Steve Madden.
